                God, he was grinning, until he realized what Uta said about Setsuno that was. Returning to Uta, he would have a new change, a playful ‘evil’ grin. “Yanno what, i’m makin’ a change. Changin’ up this ‘street rat’ role I picked, ta ‘bad guy that kidnaps th’ princess’. Whaddya think ‘bout that?” Giving him a cheeky look, he was suddenly Throwing Uta over his shoulder with a slight heft.                 “This princess is miiiine now.” He hummed, rubbing his hand over Uta’s thighs which he was SURE still hurt from barbed wire and bite marks, after all he had been making a point of trying to leave painful reminders for Uta in his absence. Upstairs he carried his pretty ghoul princess, they wouldn’t be there long enough to have to worry about any locking up he was sure.                 Sitting down on the couch, he set the ghoul right in his lap. “There we go, I’ll kidnap ya somewhere nicer soon, this works fer now though. Ya said fuckin’ Setsuno threatened ya not ta hurt me? Thaaaa’s pretty funny. I love th’ guy, tryin’a look out fer me. I tend ta get hurt easy.” He snorted, reaching up to fix Uta’s now messy bangs.

                His brows hiked up as he listened on still. “Probably true. Ain’t knowin’ too many with patience, ‘side from maybe Setsuno.” And then came that joke. Despite how harshly someone might take that, he knew Uta enough at this point luckily to know it was a joke. Though that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to play along with it. Head canting, a playful pout found his face as he suddenly released him, but made sure Uta wasn’t leaning too much into him as he did so.                 “Oh? Already? Would’a figured ya’d gimme maybe a day ‘fore ya threw that at me.” Shrugging, he shoved his hands within his pockets and spun on his heel, strolling away from Uta a couple feet as he broke contact. Though he would pause, looking over his shoulder at Uta with a grin. “Guess I’s time fa me ta get lost, yeah?”

                All of Uta’s words had him relaxing more and more every moment that passed, until he finally found himself content to lean against those fingers that cupped his jaw. The kiss was taken gratefully, as tired eyes kept locked on Uta’s face, making sure to take everything in.                 So he was winning him over? That sounded... Nice. And he didn’t want to change anything, nothing would be different, and he was free to pursue it if he wanted? It almost sounded too good to be true, but Kizo was smiling all over again. A cheesy, dopey smile that showed just how stupidly head over heels he was, like a lovesick puppy.                 Hand lifting, he would lightly squeeze Uta’s elbow before leaning in to steal another light kiss himself, sighing into it to show he was relaxing again. “Alright, alright. I think I get it... See, this is what makes ya special. Yer patient with me, jus’ like ya said. No ones ever been patient with me with stuff like this, yanno? Honestly... I’s jus’... I’s never been so simple...”                 Humming out a sigh, his hands would lower to take Uta by the waist, before slipping around him into a soft embrace. “I ain’t lettin’ go’a you till ya tell me ta get lost...”

                “Uta-chan, I’s a different kind’a special okay i’s... I’s just.” He flapped his hand, trying to find a way to say it. He was getting nervous, but he wanted to just get it out into the air and over with. “I call ya all the things I do, includin’ princess ‘cause I... I yanno... I uh...” He was starting to get anxious enough that he was breaking out in a sweat, fingers curling tighter around that hand that he held oh so tightly within his own.                 Just get it out, if he’s not interested, then it won’t matter anyways.                 “ ‘Cause I’m fallin’ for ya... I -- ... I think I love ya Uta -- No, I know I love ya, an i’s drivin’ me nuts ‘cause thinkin’ of settlin’ down or gettin’ involved scares th’ piss outta me but you -- Ya make me so damn happy, ya make my stomach twist inta knots an my heart beat fast -- I mean, fuck, I care about ya enough that you could say ya never wanted ta fuck again an i’d still come ‘round just fer ya company. I... I love ya, Uta.”                 Kizo’s head would drop, hanging as his hand came to hide away his face. He was mortified, saying those words. It could mean the end of something he found that he actually enjoyed, but damn if he wouldn’t at least get it out. He was ready for the worst, however.

                Bobbing his head along to Uta’s words, he took it all in in silence for a moment as he traced his fingers still against all of those markings he’d left. Gnawing at his lower lip, he’d have to decide just what he was willing to say here, what with the mix of emotions lately... Finally, Kizo let out a long sigh, looking up to tuck Uta’s hair behind his ear. “Look... Ya wanna know the rest’a the reason...? I’s ‘cause despite what ya say, ya are special...”                 Leaning slightly, his hand pulled from that wrist finally, coming to rub against the back of his his own neck anxiouly. “Yer special ta me. It ain’t a distance, as much as I don’t feel worthy’a it still... I’s.... I’s me findin’ an easy way ta tell ya that ya mean a lot more ta me than I’m really willin’ ta say, I guess... Or able ta fine th’ words ta say...”

                    Kizo snorted, rolling his eyes at the reasoning. “Yeah yeahhhh, you just like ta get a rise outta me. But I’ll be sure th’boss knows.” Leaning into that kiss too eagerly again, Kizo laced his fingers through Uta’s, holding that delicate hand tight within his own, as the other rose to trace obvious scabbing from some of their earlier adventures on Uta’s wrist. “Mmm... ‘Caaauuuse ya beautiful, an fuckin’ dainty, an th’ way ya act sometimes -- Ya remind me of a princess, so i’s fittin’. Especially since my dumb ass likes ta try an spoil ya.”                     Snickering to himself, he shook his head, mumbling low between them. “A princess bangin’ a street rat, tha’s what our bit is. Hardly deserve ya attention, but somehow ya give it anyway.”

                    Kizo almost guffawed at Uta’s words, slapping his hand over his mouth as the titters escaped him with too much ease. “Jeeeesus, Princess. Ya really gonna hit me hard on that already? I was jus’ kissin’ on ya, I wasn’t gonna start noooothin’. I swear! An -- Well, yeah, he doesn’t give two shits... Ya’d still be useful ta him, an if I raised a stink, I’d probably go splat so. Wouldn’t matter much.” He snuffed with a pout, instead opting to take Uta’s hands, lightly pressing his lips to the other’s knuckles. There, he wasn’t being frisky, leave him be.

Jesus, Mimic looked like a damn mess. Kizo bent to swipe those keys before moving to the passenger’s side, which he pulled open for the other easily. “So, you goin’ like that? I mean, whatevers comfy for ya, yanno? Ya just seem a li’l, yanno.” Noting the poor guy kind of wheezy and groggy about it all. When he was in, Kizo would shut the door and swing around to the other side before slipping in.He’d treat this car like a god damn baby, minding it carefully as he got in, buckled up and adjusted the mirrors. Once the engine revved to life, he would pause to give Mimic a long look from his seat. “You sure yer good ta be goin’ out? Last chance ta change ya mind before we hit th’ road.”Just to be safe, he cracked the windows, good way to get some air in there.
