Len fingered his tousled blonde hair, squinting at how bright it was outside.
It was his first morning in Hive City. Still feeling disheveled, he returned to studying the interior. Maybe if he looked at it long enough, he'd be able to memorize it all. He was anything but familiar with his new surroundings.
More troubling, yet, was his lack of understanding in the rest of the matter. He hadn't the faintest idea why he was here or what the experiment was about.
If nothing else, he'd just like someone to talk to.
The thought had just crossed his mind when he saw a flash of brown hair passing by.
❝ Hey, hey! ❞ He impulsively shouts, waving at the brunette. He gets a better look at the other boy and makes the hasty judgement that he looks friendly enough.
❝ Sorry for botherin’ ya, ❞ Len says, messing with his hair again. ❝ Do you, uh, know what’s up with this place? At all? Where anything is? Why we’re even here? ❞
