the girl gives the others an absent-minded farewell, and domenica is left standing there by herself. she feels a brief emotion of worry flow through her before she’s casually walking across the lawn, hands stuffed into her jacket pockets. her tongue swipes over lips before she speaks up, “ y’know, you really don’t strike me as the violent type. ” it’s sarcasm and it’s only second-nature to her. she’s not the one to immediately give away her worry and that much is obvious as she stands before him, small smile on her face.

part of her was glad that nothing really happened past the two hanging out in the back of his place, while another part was slight disappointed and worried that he’d just vanished. the campus quad is oddly quiet that tuesday, people murmuring about a mysterious fight that had happened. her heart skips a beat but not out of adoration, but out of worry and the sight of a bruise on his face, so evident she could see it across the lawn. this time, she’s the one staring with knitted brows before rachel’s whispers bring her back, gaze moving to the girl. “ –does anyone know when ?? ” lila is the only one to give her a confused look, but dee’s quick to continue. “ our professor asked the class if anyone knew where he was, because we have this huge exam coming up. ”

domenica’s almost certain isaac is trying to start trouble for her, and her thoughts are confirmed as he not only brushes of rachel’s gaze but gives her a wide grin. so it’s no surprise that rachel asks just what domenica was doing out here with him for, to which dee tries to muster up a lie, something rare for her. “ oh, he’s apparently in my sociology class. y’know, the one with like one hundred students in that lecture hall ?? –yeah. he was just whining about our professor. something about failing him, i don’t know. ” the girl nods, before asking if he had said anything about her, to which she replies, “ uh, no. i think that’s a good thing, too. he gives me a bad vibe, rach. ” an arm reaches out to rachel, turning the girl around to walk back inside. “ c’mon it’s fucking freezing out here. we should probably be heading back to lila’s place. ”
