“I mean, I guess if that’s what you want to call it, then sure I guess.” he shrugged. “Christmas? It’s alright. It’s not my favorite thing, but I don’t hate it.”

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I mean, it was a well intended idea, and it sort of sucks that it didn’t work. Perhaps once Christmas gets a little closer, you’ll feel a little better.

Doesn’t it? I’m trying this new thing where I try to find happiness in life, but so far it doesn’t really seem to be working, seeing as I can’t even find happiness in the holiday season. What a bummer. Hm, I do hope you’re right. It’d suck to be in a down mood for Christmas.

If you don’t like it, then why are you so prepared so early? It seems like you like it a lot.

That’s a great question. I thought putting up Christmas decorations would make me, somewhat, happier. But, now that they’re up, my apartment seems crammed and small.

“I will fucking kick you in the balls. Don’t look at me like that.” 

“Look at you like what, exactly?”

“People come up, just fuckin tell them to fuck off. It’s that easy”

“Hm, I guess you’re right. I guess it really doesn’t fucking matter what people think, huh?”

Well, I guess I should test m-my luck with drinks then… I am in need of a good time.

“If you’re looking for a good time, then you might as well just go all out. Get a whiskey, or something.”

“Tell them to fuck off then, it’s no one else’s business what you’re drinking”

“I guess you’re right. Watch those particular people show up, though, and then it will be their business.”

“How do you not know what you’re drinking?”

“Um, easy. Say ‘surprise me’ to the bartender, and they give you whatever they think is necessary.

Oh well, is it good at least?… I mean, is it s-something that I should be trying to track down?

“I mean, it’s good yes. I feel like once you drink enough, everything begins o taste good.”

“That seems dumb.”

“Does it seem dumb, Emmy?”

“You don’t know what you’re drinking?”

“I don’t want to yak.”

“And you don’t have to, so long as you’re smart about it.”

“Who fucking cares, if it gets you drunk then it doesn’t matter”

“Well, I’ve actually got some people in my life that actually might give a fuck, but clearly, it doesn’t seem to bother me, much.”

“I’m kinda hungover and I don’t really care.” 

“Ah. Hungover? You know what they say about a hangover. If you drink again, it’ll go away.”
