Happy birthday once more to my steadfast and amazing rescuer... His 2026 birthday letter was quite LONG but it was also soooOOO important to establish his starting point in the army and solidify even more his goals... (snippet below)

I'm so normal about this?!?!?! it's just that... despite all this... all the blood in his hands, the weight of a deserter, the harshness of life in unfamiliar territory and scornful people... Naib pushes on as he thinks of home: his mother, and the life he wants to give her...

Anywho... this year I decided to draw more of his animal themed costumes, featuring Eagle's Dance as center, and Tianlu, Cannoneer and Infected! Eagle's Dance is so precious to me-- he's one of the oldest skins I've used, and the one I've almost lived vicariously in IdV through... It's an honor to have him centerstage this year~

Then again, Naib DOES have so much more animal-themed skins so maybe I'll think about a second half of this hehe.

I have not drawn Genshin since 2024 hahahaha.... but I guess this guy got my attention I suppose >.>)

Sidenote, but for the first time ever I got him and his c1 in one 10-pull! That's the first time ever for me to get twice the limited character so quick like that so I'm very honored ;;w;;)

Now I'm throwing more of my pulls on his weapon because I JUST lost to Mavuika's weapon (which is cool still cuz I do have her weapon already) and now I have no choice but to grind primogems for it haaaaa.... I was hoping to save for Snezhnaya characters (please have electro males I love love love themmmm) but I guess I'm starting that region broke XDDD

I don't know how much I'll be drawing some Genshin stuff but MAN is it great just to take a breather and draw someone who's just as refreshing in Genshin's roster hehhh...

New Ithaqua skin 'Voiceless Rift' matches with Naib's Man in Red more than Morningstar does... Even though I made MiR and Helel be friends, it seems like Helel has new competition XD

Ughhh I'm so happy my boys got some lore together in the mini story. My little fighters...!! Naib looked out for Eta, and in turn Eta felt comfortable enough around him... Naib was also one of the first people that Eta seemed to have interacted with in the theatre (because they may have arrived at the same time when they won Nymph Awards last year).

Apparently, Naib's B-tier from S41 is also called "Spotted Eagle"... ughhh it's a possible AU...!!!
