I miss how in the first dark souls, covenants felt like they meant something. People actually picked sides on darkwraith vs. darkmoon, I miss choosing the old witches ring at the start of the game and being able to talk to the fair lady in the chaos covenant, I miss having any npcs related to the covenants at all that you could talk to, I miss having PVP covenants that actually work with eachother, I miss having PVE aspects to covenants, I miss covenants having any worthwhile relevance to the world.

Rather ambitious artwork for an anime exclusive card, if I do say so myself. Most other monster art (as you may have seen), is usually just a basic standing pose (not even usually full body for humans) or a 3/4ths to the left, very distant full body art for monstrous/dragon like monsters. But they went for something interesting and fun here with the pose, which I really appreciate. Sure the perspective and foreshortening maybe isn’t wholly perfect, but the effort that went into it makes me happy, despite this guy being a one off, anime exclusive monster. His overall design isn’t extremely unique, but I suppose there’s no problem with a simple design that gets its point across every now and then. The wind swirls tossing the leaves around provide some motion through the whole art without being distracting as well.
