Genius? Yes. Psychic? No.

“Yeah, and trust me, they’re a lot more dangerous than they sound.” Lydia looked at him for a moment before glancing at the chimera. A pang of pity rose in her. What did they do to that kid?

“Then he’ll get you all killed,” she said bluntly. She sighed. “As far as we know, the Dread Doctors can’t be killed.” She hoped against hope that Sam would see sense. That staying here was a bad idea.

She gave a weak smile. It was some silver lining at least.

“Do you know if they have a successful test subject?” Making more chimeras after they succeeded with one could be why they’re turning others. “Why teenagers?” Sam asked himself out loud. 

“We’re not sure. There’s not a lot of information about them.” After all Deaton traveled to Russia just to find out something about them.

Lydia held Sam close while the Dread Doctors examined the body. Her green eyes watched before the vanished. So that’s how they did that. One mystery solved, at the very least. She hated the fact that she wasn’t freaking out about this more.

“The Dread Doctors?, sounds like a bad sci-fi movie.”Sam said, glancing down the dark street they disappeared from. He averted his eyes back on the chimera. The boy was around his age. Sam tucked his blade into it’s holster.·

“My dad’s stubborn, he’s not going to leave until his job is finished here. He’s a hunter, and he taught us how to hunt too.” His dad thought they were looking for a rouge werewolf. Sam couldn’t keep this from him, he would find out sooner or later. ·
