Red Mountain: Where it all began! Reaching back into the 1940's when the first chair was built, it's safe to say our ski history stands strong. Red Mountain represents a warmth, a back-to-basics charm that most ski areas lost because they’ve tried to engineer an artificial experience. While we crank out generation after shredding generation of epic skiers and snowboarders, it highlights the importance of our past while we continue to look toward the future for both the resort and the town of Rossland.
