archived blog (how many secrets can you keep)

you try to silence the noise with a whisper.

in the midst of everything, crashing waves and rolling thunder, a world that you’re watching be torn asunder, all that you want is a moment of peace.

but because you are quiet, because you favor stillness to unrest, your voice will not be heard. it will be drowned out by their mess.

but when you join in, they condemn you. because you’ve always been the good one, proclaimed yourself as a safe haven, but are you not allowed an opinion?

are you not allowed to be thunderous, too?

you find that thunder rolls, and waves come ashore. you’ll leave the noise to the other ones, you decide, and let your whispers remain ignored.
