I am so painfully shy that it hinders my growth. Iām not as shy as I used to be, Iāve learned to show my personality to new people, and can strike up conversation. I owe some of that to my ex mother-in-law, she was the master at it. I learned a lot from her, not all lessons were good. I miss living in the city and hearing the sirens of the ambulance in the distance. I could walk outside and everything was there; people, pubs, coffee shops, LIFE. I moved back to the desert where itās not so lively, but itās home. I always dreamed of home when I was int he city, but now I dream of the city. I am so lucky to have lived there. If I never reside in the city again, at least Iāll have the memories of when I did. I was born in the heat of the desert but Iām an icy-cold city girl. I visited San Francisco when I was a teenager and fell in love with it. Too bad I wasnāt very much into seafood back then..I couldāve had some good meals. I miss walking around the city listening to my music. I used to take my 2 hour walks which was my exercise. No need to have a vehicle, just a bus pass and some walking shoes. I miss you Vancouver <3Ā
