Uh oh, sounds like someone didn’t actually read my rules all the way through lmfao. I don’t befriend non mutuals for the sole reason that there are expectations attached to that. Usually the reason that I don’t follow someone is because I know our writing styles will not mesh. The expectation that someone generally has when it comes to being friends with a non mutual is “oh we’re friends now, you’ll help me improve my writing, right?” when I simply don’t have the patience for that. I will not apologize for having that standard, and if you don’t like it, then don’t follow me. There are plenty of people who are willing, but why should I lower my standards when there are good writers out there who are willing to do that? I’ve been in the roleplaying community for 10+ years, 3 of which are on tumblr. At this point I know what I like and don’t like, and there’s a good reason that I don’t follow or befriend non mutuals.

Despite people in the guild having not the nerve to even think on mentioning it, she isn’t so stupid to believe that there isn’t at least one person in the guild who legitimately believes that. Thus, she’s always ready at any given chance to prove herself, to show how strong she actually is, and to show what years of training has done to someone, both physically and mentally.
