AWAKEN by Jason Littlefield
AWAKEN is an exploration of the moments that happen in our lives that we all share as humans but end up defining us as individuals. Using the juxtaposition of abstract and surreal art styles to make art for the conversations that can bring us together. An awakening.
Working with only black watercolor the viewers focus is shifted to the subject matter rather than being distracted by colors and paint textures. What is left is stripped down and raw subject matter in surreal worlds.

Attachment Hunger - with Scott Donald & Sean Hartman
If the origin of suffering is attachment, then why do we obsess over things to fill the empty places in our hearts?
Orlando based artists, Scott Donald, & Sean Hartman examine the pain we create for ourselves in a series of abstract paintings and illustrations. Redefine is finally moving into our new Gallery home with our friends at City Arts. It’s been a long 3+ months and we know everyone, including us, is hungering for some new art!
This March 3rdThursday at Redefine Gallery should not disappoint with this duo of crazy-talented local artists. March 21 2019 6pm - 10pm At our new historic location inside Downtown Orlando’s oldest building, The Rogers Kiene Building / City Arts - 39 South Magnolia Ave. Orlando 32801 Find us on the 2nd Floor at the end of the hall. A MUCH SIMPLER DENIAL
A much simpler denial:
To convince yourself that there is no effect. There is no insecurity. There is no sadness. There is no anger. There is no disappointment, all while being completely submerged in the aforementioned. To convince yourself that self-denial is self-help. To change the facade per occasion and project only an idea of knowledge and enlightenment. It’s far more convenient to ignore than respond. It’s a much simpler denial to tell yourself that you never had these feelings at all.

3rdThursday Downtown Art Walk - CityArts Factory Orlando
Scott White
was born outside Cleveland, Ohio in 1974. His family relocated to DeLand, Florida in 1982.
After briefly attending Savannah College of Art and Design, Scott left college to pursue a career in art. He’s spent the last 22 years as a professional tattoo artist, musician, graphic designer, and an owner of Rise Above Tattoo in Orlando, Florida.
Always encouraged to make art as a child, he found his passion and motivation in punk rock, skateboard graphics, and underground album artwork.
Over the last decade, his artistic inspirations have become more impulsive, with interests in folk, outsider, and street art.
Exploring texture and materials, layering raw wood, stencils, pastel, spray paint, acrylics, and often whatever else is in arms reach.
SINUSOID BY BAYO
SINUSOID: A sine wave. A mathematical curve that describes a smooth, repetitive oscillation between a bizarre reality and an absurd dream within a deep sigh.
- new works by BAYO
It’s October and our biggest celebration of the year! In collaboration with CityArts Factory’s Dia de Los Muertos / Halloween street party! Our block of Pine Street will be blocked off and there will be Food/ Drinks/ Performances/ Art vendors! Should be horrifyingly fun!
This will also be our Final October celebration at our current home at the historic CityArts Factory building at Orange and Pine, as we will be moving to our new location at the end of the year. Help us do a proper October Orange&Pine/Horror on Pine St. finale!
This 3rd Thursday we’re welcoming back Austin based artist and Redefine Regular BAYO with a combination of his amazing new paintings, and graphite drawings with a touch of twisted realism. Don’t miss out on these incredible one-of-kind works by Bayo.
