Today I chose a random road and eventually ended up in St. Paul, Oregon. It’s a cute little town with a historic landmark; the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. It is the oldest brick building in the Pacific Northwest, built in 1846.

Oh what a day for me to be without my gun. I made it about 100 yards in before I did an about-face and left. I took two pictures, that’s enough for today.

I prefer photos with a clear view of the scene or sight that I want to capture. Sometimes though, I wonder if I’m being too picky and should just post the photo with the obstacles.

I was out exploring Oregon again and came across the North American Bigfoot Center in Boring, Oregon. Unfortunately, this sight right next to the building caught my attention and is the only thing I took a picture of that day.

Portland Women’s Forum State Scenic Viewpoint.

Here's an old picture I found in my photo library. This was taken from Mount Scott in Clackamas, Oregon, and it shows Portland in the distance. Now normally, Portland doesn't look as polluted as it does in this picture. It was a very cold, foggy morning when this was taken, and the fog was still lifting from Portland.

I was out exploring the countryside of Oregon when I came across this beautiful view. I thank God for the fact that the birds chose that moment to start flying.

I’ve lived in Oregon since I was a child and I still don’t tire of seeing its beauty all around me. It might not be New Zealand, but it’s still breathtaking and I thank God that I’m able to see it.
