ex-president Obama, Elon Musk and other famous actors are in on the meme and are not taking it seriously, though i do wonder (considering im in Australia and we're making our own versions of the storm) what would Trump think about this meme? I've yet to hear or see anything from him on regards to this storm, i'd hope he also knows its all a joke, or would at least tell his military its a joke and the fact that he has yet to mention anything to me seems too odd Though.. now i think about it.. maybe some of the military know its a all a meme but its the " big boys " in the high leadership that are saying all of these things? The camo dudes aka the ones in trucks at gates don't seem to be bothered by whats going on. Itās known that military cannot always give their word 100% about what they do or/and what they know, so, for all we know their could be members that WANT to say āwe know this is a jokeā but the big boys are not letting them say a word? The words they say control the power they have.
Area 51 Thoughts -
Here's the thing.. in hypothetical terms.. imagine say 100,000 actually went right? Now think about this. 100K flights being made to Nevada in a very short space of time, the airport is going to shit itself, the number of cars/taxis/trains/buses that would take to transport all of these people to nevada from the airport ( and from their accommodation) That little town you spoke of is going to be quote on quote raided aswell full of people and vehicles, Ā and if the townsfolk there are unaware of this fake event and see those people, they're going to be worried and would probably ring police. Also, since it will be quite a distance from the meet-up to the actual gate, how are they going to get there? Can't assume that all 100K are a) fit enough for the trip, b) have a good sense of direction, c) have enough WATER. Ā Not to mention the prices of just getting supplies and going there let alone the added prices of getting more supplies and coming back home. Things like this i keep thinking about and honestly i am very surprised that no one has brought this up yet. Shit will be chaotic before anyone even reaches Nevada. Additional info - For an Australia to go to Area 51, the AVERAGE price (in AUD) would be around $1,200 as a one-stop flight, meaning the price is higher in total to fly there and back.Ā ~~~~~~ My personal opinions.Ā I love learning about Area 51, anything paranormal and supernatural, aliens, conspiracies i enjoy learning about and find big interests in, especially Area 51.Ā We live in a uniqueĀ world where over last 1,000 human kind has been evolvingĀ at a rate where we can do more and see more each year. We have the technology to see into space and to go into space and send satelites to explore space for years on end. We can see brilliant photos of our other planets and learn even more about everything around us, we have the ability to see with our eyes the moon, Mars, Venus and sometimes Jupiter if we get lucky enough.Ā However. With the Area 51 Storm Raid; it is very clear that the event is just a joke. Yes i admit, it would be interesting to go there to see what they may or may not have. But in reality i would never put my life on risk to go to such a place. This is why i give props to the man Bob Lazar, listen to his podcasts and watch his documentary if you really want more info or even take it as a hobby to research about the place yourself.Ā Space is the most brilliant, interesting existenceĀ in the history of existence.Ā ~~ PLEASE DO NOT ACTUALLY GO TO AREA 51.Ā
A Constellation. An army. A family.

Guys. Guys. Look at how high-definition this is. LOOK AT IT. This isnāt a movie. This isnāt CGI. This is OUR FUCKING SOLAR SYSTEM. A;LSKJFA;WFEW

Indie Game Spotlight: The World Next Door
Weāre back with another Tumblr fave this week for our Indie Game Spotlight. Weāre talking The World Next Door. In this game, you play as Jun, a human trapped in a parallel universe full of magical beings. The gameplay is one part visual novel and one part puzzle-battles. Several Youtube commenters have described it as āTumblr: The Game.ā
Whoās answering the Qās and their role on the team?
Hi, Iām Corey Warning, and Iām the Director of The World Next Door. I dreamed up the original concept with my partner, Will Lewis, and character designer Lord Gris. I also did some of the writing, and was in charge of hiring people more talented than myself to make the game look, sound, and feel great.
Congratulations on the successful release of your game! How has your journey been from being nominated for awards to releasing a versus mode?
Thanks! Iām really proud of how it all came together. For most of the team, this was our first original game, and everyone worked really hard for the better part of 2 years to make it happen. With the Versus Mode update, the game is sort of in this āevergreenā state, so weāre mainly looking for opportunities around porting and localizing for different languages now.
Where did the idea behind The World Next Door originate?
The original concept was to make a ādungeon-crawling dating simā - but our friends at Kitfox kinda beat us to it with Boyfriend Dungeon. During the early stages of development, the narrative shifted into something more of a coming-of-age story. You play as a character who is completely out of her element and needs to rely on a group of teenagers she just met in a life or death situation.
How did anime and manga inspire The World Next Door?
Our publisher, VIZ Media, was involved with the project from the very beginning. We knew we wanted to create something that would resonate with their fans and the indie games crowd, as well. Being huge fans of anime, manga, and indie games, it was a fairly painless starting point. On top of series like My Hero Academia, we also took inspiration from games like Oxenfree, shows like Stranger Things, and even podcasts, like The Adventure Zone while creating The World Next Door.
The World Next Door combines gameplay elements such as visual novels, roleplay, and puzzle solving. What else can we expect from the game?
Many visual novel games let the player create their own character, so one challenge was figuring out how to create a game that would appeal to fans of the genre while having a set player character. We felt that having Jun, the gameās protagonist, wearing a mask would help players put themselves more in her role. It was also important to us to have players make lots of dialogue choices (for the big moments and little moments) so they always feel in control of Jun.
Figuring out how to contextualize puzzle battles into all of this was probably our biggest challenge. We started by looking at games like Tetris Attack and Puzzle League, but things quickly evolved from there into something that looks more like Match-3 Bomberman. At some point, the idea of creating matches that cast spells at enemies on the board came up, and that was the major turning point for combat. Everything really fell into place after that.
The World Next Door is your latest project with VIZ Media but you have also collaborated with others on projects such as Hiveswap and Cartoon Network Game Jam. What has been your experience partnering with such great brands?
Before this project, Rose City Games was operating more as a support studio. We would partner with teams to help them get their games out the door, or work with a bigger company with less experience in the games space to make something really cool happen. Weāve been extremely fortunate to collaborate with so many talented people up to this point, and wouldnāt have been able to make The World Next Door without everything we learned along the way.
What kind of humanoid monsters can players expect to meet?
Demons, Beasts, Drakes, Spirits, and an ancient race known as Elders all reside in the parallel world of Emrys. In this world, Earth and Emrys have been connected by portals for as long as anyone can remember, so the twin worlds are just a part of daily society. They share technology, culture, and fashion, so thereās a familiarity to this magical realm.Ā
Ready to become Jun?Ā You can find The World Next Door on the Nintendo Switch eShop, and for PC & Mac on Steam, GoG, Humble, and Itch.io.

Sad day today
Hello fellow tennos. Today is a sad day for the internet in Germany. The europe parlament accepted a stupid af law for germany, called article 13. It says that you are only allowed to use content in media, wich is produced by yourself. It means no pictures of footage of news, games, or even photographs from other people. What this fucking law means for this blogā¦.i dont knowā¦i will contact DE about it and ask how they will handle this bullshit.
From what i heard about it (in aussie) is that its up to theĀ āownersā if they want to make their work copyrighted or not, and im sure that these people will give permission for them to be used. Specially with game content.Ā I am a gaming channel, so i know i wonāt be affected as long as the music is non-copyrighted, many channels go on about how theyāre worried about their videos... there are hundreds of channels that provide non-copyright music and sound clips free (or pay) to use, so im not sure why the channels donāt use those.Ā Sharing in-game screenshots i think you wonāt have an issue with, as the article 13 is more-so focused on things like memes, copyrighted audio files/video files.Ā Most photographers already own copyright to their work and would probably give permission for their work to be shared as long as credit/links are place, this goes for most of everything else.Ā Ā Also A13 wasnāt just for germany, it was for all of the UK from what iāve been hearing, its just a bunch of VERY old people who donāt understand how the internet works looking for ways to get dat money.Ā
