I wonder what can go wrong hahaha

1. Something that really helps me is creating some kind of scheme or ladder of the main events in which you shortly write what will happen in your fanfiction (beginning, key events, finale). Then you add stuff between each event until you get an actual plot.

2. When building a chapter, you must see it as creating a creature: you start with the skeleton (key moment of the chapter) then you add some meat (dialogues, actions) and then the skin (details, expression, this kind of stuff)! It doesn't have to look perfect, but to make sense!!

3. Ask yourself a lot of questions. For characters and plot, you must ask youself Why. X character does something important for the plot or has some issue. Why? And once you answer you keep asking yourself the same questions.

Also, having anyone to discuss about your fanfiction/original story can help!

I've got a horrible attention span and have a tendency to wander while trying to read but reading your work somehow keeps me pretty locked in.

I honestly have some insecurities about my writing style because I tend to write things with not a lot of details in my descriptions and there are more dialogues than anything else (or that's how I view my writing).
