âSpan is a site-specific installation commissioned for International Orange, an exhibition celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge by the FOR-SITE Foundation. While we might think of San Francisco Bay as a timeless presence, its boundaries clearly fixed in place, Camille Utterbackâs dynamically generated installation reveals the ways in which the Bay and the Golden Gate have changed â and continue to change â over time.â
âWebsite Wigs" are portraying diverse Websites based on their hyperlinked tree structure, which is braided into the sythetic hair - of a Wig. Each functionality in the computer code of the Website corresponds to a distinct way of braiding and color-coded knotting within the hair.Â
