     “Trus’ me, I can handle Beaky here jus’ fine.” Sapphire remarks with a rather toothy grin. Best to leave it at that—- she didn’t want to give the impression she was here to cause any trouble, after all. Instead, fingers delicately outstretch the Pokemon’s wing, sharp blue eyes surveying ruffled feathers and the curve of the bone that supports the creature.

White watched with faint concern as the girl continued to study the flying type with all too invasive interest. Brav only seemed rather outraged at all this unwarranted approach. Not something that would be handled so roughly normally, but when he was pretty much being manhandled by someone other than this former or current trainer, well, that didn’t sit well with him.

     “I’m definitely not a pro but… they are fun. I entered one kinda on a whim, just ‘cuz? And i ended up having a pretty good time! Heck, the contest hall is where I got my Pikachu— ”

     The conversation tapers into a thoughtful hum.

“That does sound interestin’. It is nice to see trainers bondin’ with their Pokemon doin’ something fun like that.” Given her fondness for performance and show, contests seemed like something she would take some enjoyment out of. Even if not participating in, watching would be satisfactory as well. 

“Yeah, it was! Definitely better than sleepin’ out near that cave, huh?” Though the grass surrounding this place wasn’t too bad and all. Avoiding the Chasm was your best bet, though. 

“Ah— okay.” At her words, he definitely shuffled his hands out in front of him, palms upturned so she could place them in his hands. Once the balls were placed, he glanced down at the Pokemon within the see-through containers. Some of them seemed in disbelief while others were nearly wiggling out of excitement just to see him ( and maybe even disbelief ). Black could only blink, brows furrowing in an attempt to maybe try to remember something… maybe even their names if they had them.

“They are still yours...of course you can, if you want to.” White answered with a small nod. She wasn’t sure how they would act when they were let out. Excited sure, but what about when Black didn’t act as familiar in return? It did worry her faintly, she couldn’t deny that. Memories or not though, it felt more proper for Black to have his Pokemon, than her keeping them like this. 

    Even if the ball hits its mark, even if the Pokemon is sufficiently weakened, there’s still usually a chance, even if it’s a small one, that the Pokemon could still escape. Approach too soon, and you may just end up being attacked by the frightened and escaping Pokemon, which is something Blue would rather avoid. Although, it’s only a short time before she finds out exactly what the outcome would be; a resounding click, indicating that the Pokemon had been successfully caught.

    “We got it!” Rushing over to the ball, humming happily, she reaches down and scoops it up, hoping to get a look at the Eevee that was sure to be her prize…

“Well would ya look at that.” White glanced at the ball once Blue had retrieved it, Darling behind her and curious as well. “Ah...”

     “Performances? Y’mean like contests and junk like that?” May inquires with a tilt of her head. White was write on that account—- it is a bit of a surprise, though more of an amusing and charming one than anything. It wasn’t often she met trainers who dabbled in more than just gym battles and something about the change of pace is refreshing in an odd way.

     “I heard that movies are super duper popular here… with, like, Pokemon actors and everything! Heh. Back home, we don’t really have stuff like that. Johto’s a pretty quiet place, y’know? I think the flashiest thing we’ve got is PokeAthelon and that’s more of a sport-sy thing for sure.”

Well, she’s been part of the production, of a lot of them. But, she isn’t about to throw that out there, when she was trying not to even think about that bit.
