I haven’t always been very disciplined about documenting the stuff I make, especially in the days before social media. I made this #batik shirt for my dove-obsessed, former-hippie mom some time in the early 90s(?). She still wears it. She sent me this photo and at first, I couldn’t even remember that I made this shirt. But then it all came back to me, and I recalled my batik/textile dyeing phase. Always document your progress. It will surprise you later.
