His first summer after leaving home for university, Josh moved back into his mother’s house for the holidays. Summer jobs were hard to come by, though, and by his third week home he was bored, broke, and bored. And also, broke.

  During the day his mother, Kelsey, was out at work. His sister Hayley hadn’t had any more luck than Josh in finding a job, and the two of them were getting in each other’s way a lot that summer. Hayley was already a year or two grown out of her sullen adolescent phase, but Josh was surprised at how precocious she had become.

  None of this is to suggest that Josh spent a great deal of time considering his little sister. As with most nineteen year olds, his libido still had some fucking afterburners, and he had little better to do than jerk off two, maybe three times a day. In fact, Josh was one sexually-frustrated kid. University hadn’t been an especially successful time for him, getting-laid-wise. Another way to put it would be that it had been an entirely unsuccessful time. He wondered sometimes if his lack of confidence around women had anything to do with his ballbusting fetish. Far back as he could remember, Josh had gotten more aroused by the thought of a girl slamming her foot into his plums than by almost anything else. It wasn’t the pain so much as the humiliation he loved: the thought of some cute girl totally levelling him with a single kick.   The reason this was somewhat difficult was that Hayley was forever bursting in on him, trying to alleviate her own boredom by needling her older brother for a few minutes. She’d already almost caught him with one hand on his computer mouse and the other on his junk a bunch of times, so it was almost inevitable that eventually Josh would be caught, as it were, with his trousers down.
