Thank you
I want to say thank youânot in resentment, but in sincerity.
Thank you for the part you played in shaping who I am today. Through the disturbance you caused, I discovered a deeper resilience within me. Because of what I endured, I now carry a strength I never knew I had. You pushed meâsometimes unfairly, often harshlyâbut in doing so, you helped me break out of the shell of timidity I once lived in.
You taught me to stand my ground. To speak with clarity. To lead with confidence. Iâve learned assertiveness, decisiveness, and grace under pressureânot just for my sake, but so I can serve others better.
Your attempts to belittle or overlook me only revealed something I needed to see: that there is indeed something valuable within me. And while your actions may have been rooted in insecurity or comparison, they led me to recognize the gifts God has placed in meânot with pride, but with gratitude.
Iâve grown, both as a person and as a professional. You were part of that growth, even if you never meant to be. And for that, I genuinely thank you.
Perhaps the most profound thing youâve given me is clarityâclarity on the kind of person, colleague, and leader I never want to become. You have shown me, by contrast, what grace, integrity, and humility truly look like.
So, thank youânot for the wounds, but for what God has done through them. He has turned what was meant to harm me into something that strengthened me. And for that, I am at peace.
đâYou intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.â â Genesis 50:20
