Something is coming to an end. You know it. And it's inevitable. But instead of fighting and it all ending in the noise and chaos you expected, you've come to know better - and simply accept it, sitting back and watching as it all collapses. Although it saddens you and you still feel helpless wishing you could do something to change it, there's no panic. In fact, there's a kind of tranquil beauty to how it all ultimately unravelled and fell apart in slow-motion before you. How long the ultimate process of closure will last, you don't know. But better to spend it at peace, than lost in the throes of turmoil.
