     Tongue clicks impatiently against teeth, brow knitted as she turns over the data packet hovering just above her fingertips. Brightly painted digits cause the cluster of files to rotate and unfurl, revealing half corrupted and, in some cases, completely fragmented images and documents. Was it impossible to untangle? No. But it was going to take time, and careful attention. Eyes roll, shoulders sagging as fingers pull into a fist, static coated images and glitched text disappearing in a glimmer. This data from Helix was a mess – the extraction of the files had been sloppy at best. Should have sent her if they wanted a clean job done.

     “These files are a disaster. Between Helix scrambling to lock the program out and a premature pull of the jack, we have bits and pieces but nothing completely clean. I’ll do what I can to salvage what’s here but – your man did an awful job.” The last of her words lilt into amusement, a wry little grin curling her lips as she turns, brows lifting in the hooded one’s direction. She can not help it – the misfortune and utter ineptitude of others is always laughable – but at the very least, she tries to hide her snicker behind a halfhearted hand, sitting up further to tilt her head. 

Huffing derision to convey his judgement on the matter, he hovered vaguely behind her projected network of information, a pensive tilt to his head. Similar to many other organizations he had worked for over the years, Talon was keen to gain as much intel of varying importance levels as they could get their hands on, and despite acting as the intermediary to deliver said intel -- in this case the classified data her deft hands were filtering through at a rapid pace --, Reaper held relatively little responsibility for the fuck ups of another.

As long as compensation was reasonable, whether or not it proved useful to Talon hardly mattered to him.

but jokes aside your writing style is. so beautiful. so descriptive. so fancy. you obviously put a lot of effort into it to make it flow and sound as well as it does, and i commend you for that. you capture hanzo’s voice effortlessly imo, but my favorite has to be how every so often he openly speaks about his struggles, i.e. missing his brother / his past actions that led to the loss of the genji as hanzo knew him etc. that’s important to me?? hanzo’s repentance?? as he tries to wrap his head around and come to terms w/ what his brother’s become?? while also still maintaining his rather reserved attitude? thank u for that, it’s so good.
