Today marks the first month of courtship between me and my love.
Yes! Courtship. But i already called him “My Love”. Because it is the least that i can do to give back on the efforts he’s giving to me.
I still remember the first day of our courtship. That was October 14 Friday, the last meeting of our Rizal subject. (where it all begins). It was a busy day not only for me but for the whole college of education. All the deadlines, presentations, demo’s and final requirements ruined us. Some were running out of time. There’s a lot of students in the corridor and our supposed to be classroom for our 2 subjects that day was occupied by the 4th year students. I’m stressed! indeed stressed. I also suffered for my monthly period. And i also have my demo teaching on my major subject. I’m broke.
But after my emotional dramas and dilemmas, we finally got a vacant room in the 5th floor and finally started our demo teaching. And the rest is history. I got a good job coming from my professor and a long and deep breath. HAHA! Finally, I’m finished.
When we need to go down to check if our room was already free. I saw him! My knees started to shake, my lips started to dry and my heart started to beat so fast. I’m contemplating if i will look or ignore him. I’m nervous. Not because of my demo but because of the fact that today will be the start of something new. That will definitely change my life forever.
It was not the last problem that we encountered that day. Not a problem but it’s crazy how things went wrong that time. Our professor in SOC4 didn’t present that day and we also need to go to the other room just to take our last quiz for that subject. I’m so confused. There’s a thing in my mind that our first meeting will not be pursue because of uncontrolled things that happened that day. I thought that, that day was not for us. And maybe we can resched it some other time or maybe next sem. But God is good that he gave me strength to pursue that day. And also the rest is history... I don’t wanna make this long.
I realized that if you really want something, God will give it to you. Your faith for that something will encourage you to not give up and to continue in what you believe in. Because that something is worth a try. And that person is worth to love. :)
