I love this phrase because it represents a lot of how I see people nowadays.

“Everybody’s so nice lately” sounds good on the surface… but “everybody’s not nice” is the hidden truth behind a lot of smiles.

The older you get, the more you realize not everyone supporting you has good intentions, not every friendship is loyalty, and not every “good vibes” person is genuinely good.

MGK says this line in Papercuts, and honestly it reflects a lot of what I see day by day.
