❝He just expects us to be good, that’s all.❞ Johnny feels the need to defend the eldest Curtis, despite the current tension between them. He was always doing that, trying to defuse animosity between everyone. He was the true middle child of the gang, just like Sodapop. Part of him feels guilty knowing that Darry has a perfectly valid reason to be sore with him. Darry despised Buck Merril and his rigged rodeo betting scheme, thought of him as a true criminal and not just another hood like the rest of them. Johnny wanted money, that was all, Buck always had a lot of money. It just seemed logical to ask him for a job. ❝Nobody can be good all the time. Not even me.❞

Johnny cannot believe he’s lost him, it’s not as though he has many pressing responsibilities in his world. If the kid doesn’t turn up in the next 15 minutes he’s gonna lose it.

just over the weekend a lot of my closest friends ( that including my bff chrissy ) all got tear gassed and my friend james had to go to the hospital after getting hit with rubber bullets. everyone is thankfully okay but my dear alexa is in jail & i need all the good vibes to get her bail lowered as i can get. alexa needs all the good vibes she can get.

I know it's asking a lot but I really want my best friend back. She didn't do anything wrong. She made a point to try to talk to law enforcement to get answers instead of fight them. She always deescalated everything. She just filmed things and pissed off law enforcement that way. Please. Help me get my best friend out of male imprisonment.
