sometimes I just think about how kyoko desperately wanted to be loved and accepted in her life, only to be welcomed by both of her neglectful parents. a father who couldn’t be bothered to care for his family whatsoever && a mother who rather focuses on her makeup & clothing than to show any love or affections towards their only child. eventually, she does find a home with katsuya & tohru but it only lasts for a couple of happy years before it’s all taken away from her again. only able to reflect as she sleeps within her coma, wondering if she was cursed the day she was born.
