ur fave emo grrl!!! will punch u in the face w a burst of mystical energy, then flick u on the forehead w her manicured, black nail-polished fingers. hates dogs, reluctantly admits to liking cats, coz birds r where it’s at!! likes meditation, levitating, and casually #sippinthattea. annoyed easily. has the softest heart, but because she has the softest heart, she’s had to encase that all in a buncha metal and angst even tho she’s well in her 25s now. luv her pls... but from a distance, thank u.

BACKGROUND —–

‘daddy issues’ is an understatement. her father is the demon trigon. he impregnated raven’s mother after she and a cult she was a part of performed a satanic ritual to summon him. he needed an heir to help him take over the universe, and raven’s mother was just another attempt at that.

people of azarath save her mother and take her to the peaceful dimension for refuge. raven’s mom is the first one who successfully delivers a powerful heir for trigon. but growing up, in order to prevent raven and trigon from reconnecting (which would mean the universe’s destruction), she and her mother stay in azarath.

receives extensive training as a child so she can suppress her emotions. otherwise, if they weren’t suppressed, that would summon trigon and pull out her dark side. eventually, trigon appears at azarath where he destroys much of raven’s home, ages her mother to near death, and threatens to come for raven again once she reaches her true potential.

raven leaves to seek help in finishing off her father. lil salty @ justice league bc she sought them out first for help, but they turned her down bc she was the daughter of a demon. she rounded up the teen titans as a result, who are now her #1 ride or die homies.

as a teen and w the titans, they manage to lock trigon up in an interdimensional prison. but raven still has to fight her father's influence, which is maintained inside of her darker self, as he was not completely destroyed.
