“IF IT isn’t my nemesis, sav bhandari !!” sarcastic tone hinted in her words as a laugh tickled at her throat. “i’m only kidding...” quickly, as not wanting to really get into their old rivalry. “how have you been ??” smile stretching at the side of her lips, actually excited to talk to her old friend from back in the day. holly j had been pretty cagey and secretive at what she had been doing as of late. maybe it was time to meet up with the old gang again. starting with sav !!

“SHALL we go for a little walk, p e n ??” eloise was basically jittering with anticipation or was it more anxiety that was creeping up on her ?? hands were flinging in front of her despite the fact, words were not escaping her mouth. 

everything about theo and what had happened was causing her too much stress. and the fact that penelope was still keeping secrets, though, eloise believed she was. why was life suddenly trying to do a very intricate dance that eloise did not know the steps to. not that she even knew how to dance like a PROPER LADY. 

“i think it would be the best option before i simply scream---”  

“----DAPHNE !!” eloise croaked, trying her best to catch her breath. “how can O N E possibly breathe in this CONTRAPTION !!” yet again, eloise was being forced to wear something out of character. everyone, as usual, was being simply ridiculous and unfair. pushing her dark hair back out of her face, suddenly feeling very hot. 

“why must i WOO a man with my looks when i, clearly, have a brain in my HEAD !!” pressing a finger against her temple with a rather unladylike huff and puff. “i do not want to do this anymore !!” settling down onto the coach wondering where her sister was so she could complain some more. 

DAPHNE’S gloved hands were set upon her lap as she smiled up at kate, delighted to see her. an eyebrow rose, “come join me--- i’ve just sat down to have some tea !! would you like some ??” showing off the lovely spread right in front of her. 

things had certainly been heating up between the other young woman and HER BROTHER. which to the redheaded female was both entertaining and disgusting all wrapped in one. “by the way, your dress is just lovely--- you’ve always perked me up with all the wonderful frocks you come out with !!” softness yet excitement dancing through her teeth. 

Luke had tried to do it all on his own, but time and time again he realized he needed his sister. Leia was literally his other half, his twin, after everything they had been through, there was no person he trusted more. No one’s decision he relied on. She was smarter than he was and it didn’t bother him. After all, it came in handy. She was a born diplomat and leader. She had the courage of 100 warriors and the kindness of a 1000 saints. He needed her if he was going to rebuild the jedi, better, and more in line with what they claimed to have been for. To work to protect people, and not their own selves.  

❝i had not planned on coming around today, but here i am❞ he smirked and laughed ❝i need a reason to see my favorite sister?❞ she had been his only sister but still. There was so much they had not talked about. So much that had been left unsaid after their father died. He wanted to tell leia about all of it, but he had more time to process it all, including what he had learned about their birth parents. He wasn’t going to push that on her. She had two amazing parents who loved her, he didn’t want to take away from that 

❝Actually, i do need some help.❞ he admitted ❝i need some old archives that were password protected by your father in the old senate building. Trying to rebuild the jedi and all, and i was wondering if you could help..❞ he paused 

“LUKE SKYWALKER, i am your only sister !!” cocking her head to the side, not able to help herself. amusing smile danced across light pink lips as looked over at her most favorite person in the world. it was all true, luke was her twin -- and she was his number one fan. what a brave man he was to go up against such evil in the world. 

the fact he was rebuilding, becoming a guide for those who needed it most made her so proud. making her feel so warm inside. a sigh escaped her, “let me see---” looking down tapping at a tablet for a few moments, “i THINK i can pencil you in !!” sarcasm seeped from her tongue, knowing all too well that she was absolutely going to help him. 

“i’m quite impressed that you’ve asked me, luke--- i don’t feel i’d be much help !!” thinking about all the things that needed to be done. what could she really contribute ?? yes, she was brilliant, but was she enough to rebuild such an important community. luke was the one who could do it a l l. this she knew in every fiber of her being. “----let me ask this, what can i do to help ??” trying her best not to cute herself short. mind wandering towards the ONE TOPIC she needed to gush about, to let out before burst. 

clark felt his cheeks turn a little red. he hoped not noticably, but still. lois lane was a tough one to crack. a lot of the time he couldn’t tell if she was happy to see him or if he was an annoyance, but he also liked on the rare occasion he was able to make her smile. her smile lit up her whole face and it was beautiful. 

clark laughed  ❝since when does lois lane need a hero?❞ he meant it as a joke but he knew it was truth. she was a force of nature, and he always admired that about her. sometimes however it bothered him that she didn’t allow herself to need anyone. he shouldn’t want her to be needy, but was it so odd that in some way he wanted to be needed by her? it was silly he knew. 

❝well i figured you might need some help. if nothing else than fact checking❞ he sat down across from her. ❝of course it is. why do think i’m here? we have the attact of the evil deadlines❞ he just looked at her ❝come one lane, let me help. it won’t hurt to ask for help❞

A PERFECT EYEBROW arched as lois eyed the male, slightly amused by his words. deep down in the pit of her stomach was a single butterfly flutter. nothing that she truly noticed. not yet. even the smallest pick up of her heart, she ignored. as much as LOIS LANE pretended not to need anyone, she did. yes, she could be her own hero, she had skin made of steel and a tongue that could slay even the most clever of linguist. “----i’m my own hero, smallville...” smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she let out a sigh. “...but how can i not accept your offer ??”

he sounded so genuine and so EAGER to help her out. like a damn puppy dog wanting all the pets and love in the world. maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to let him hang out with her. not wanting to ADMIT TO HERSELF that the journalist wanted him around.  “you look like a puppy left on the porch, i won’t say no to t h i s.” words were sharp against her teeth as she spook looking back at him as he took a seat at his desk.
