I forgot to give you guys some update, I’ve been working on the game a lot lately. I had to fix some stuff about saving again, but now it really works like it should, so it will be easy to add content in the updates. And there were also a couple of other code related things. Anyway, in the gif above, you can see the portal, with which you will start the run by porting in the first level. I also created a custom button for it, the surroundings of the portal are gonna be changed, but right now it is just randomly placed in the village and I will add more detail later when I polish the game.

How I make characters- Melissa

Sample from the Diaries color palette. I pick a few random colors to work with. 

Draw a random shape. I try and make something random to build off of.

Sample more colors and build up the character. I keep making random shapes until it looks like a character and then fix it up and improve it.
