I haven't gotten the chance to work on the Ninjago comic as much as I'd like now that exams are just around corner. I'm hoping when I'm done I'll be able to make a lot more progress. School has made me fall into an apathetic rut which isn't surprising but still sucks like hell. I hope however reads this and might be feeling the same way knows they aren't alone ❤️❤️❤️

Also I’m slowly progressing through the part 2 of the comic I posted a bit back, life has been extremely chaotic lately and a lot of changes have occurred, in addition to my classes starting 🥲

He’s really bad at remembering to brush his hair, only to realize how messy it is when one of the ninja comment on it. (doesn’t help that he scratches his head whenever he’s confused/embarrassed and pulls/tugs at his hair whenever he’s stressed)

Loves anything and everything mint flavored

Really REALLY bad at lying (biggest weakness at Darkley’s)

Horrendous sleep schedule even before the visions in DR S2 so as expected has dark eye bags

Extreme overthinking and self-doubt (at this point this is canon)

Adores childish cartoons and comics but doesn’t allow himself to indulge in them due to feeling like he must act older for the team (also cuz bro never got an actual childhood)

Him and Sora bond over their deep love for cats

Took a long time to learn how to meditate compared to the other ninja

Loves hugging the ninja because it makes him feel closer to them and eases his worries of being physically apart

Enjoys listening to Rock from time to time

Was constantly called a cry baby at Darkley’s so he’s developed a habit of not allowing himself to cry in front of others (Cole helped him become more comfortable crying in front of him through the years)

Okay guys I’m leaving it at that for now or I might rant for 100 million years, AGH I HAVE SO MANY MORE HC FOR LLOYD.

Also I’ll add that Wu = Princess Celestia and Garmadon = Princess Luna

This was such a fun experience, my younger self loved drawing comics and I haven’t been able to do it for a long while.

This scene has been running in my head since episode 10 and really wanted to draw them in the same style as the show hehe

I really want to have magical hands and make the comic in my head just appear, I can’t sit still I must DRAWWWW!!!!!

Okay but genuinely Evil Lloyd was written so well, this damn whole season is beyond my greatest imaginations and I don’t think I’m gonna be sane ever again
