High on life right meow _ A year ago I set myself on a spiritual journey. When I hit 27, I said to myself this is the year I’m going make things happen. This is the year of abundance and gain, the year I’m going to acquire all my huge breaks in my business. To skim through this past year as a twenty seven year old “young man,” I truly felt what it meant to adult. For some reason I always thought making tough decisions and going through crappy seasons was something I had to deal with temporarily in the beginning. Relatively, that is true.. eventually I learned that there is no one time lesson or dealing with life in the way that - ( oh if I do good now and make great decisions then it’ll be good the rest of the time). NOPE! The key to developing into the person you want to be takes a solid commitment. Which equates to a an ongoing process. In addition, thinking that I’ll do good now for a short amount of time does not result in an easy life. Do good ALWAYS and you will reap a life of abundance in so many ways. In one year, I didn’t gain the $30 an hour gigs I wanted in the production industry. I didn’t open a portrait studio in my bachelor pad in downtown Long Beach. I didn’t get to buy the dream suv I wanted. Didn’t travel across the country taking amazing photographs. Yet these were goals I set out to do within a year. It low key blows that I’m not where I want to be as far as goal setting goes. But I must admit, I’m so unbelievably grateful where I am now. I haven’t been able to share every single spiritual entry that has happened, especially this past year..but I am hoping this can benefit the rest of you hustlers and grinders out there who are making those same sacrifices to earn the life you deserve to live. Sure, I’m not where I want to be right now, but where I am going to be whether it’s 2,4,6 years from now... I welcome those challenges ahead to make me stronger. Take value in the moment you are in. Value this very point because you are valuing the process which is so damn KEY!!! (at Balboa Peninsula, Newport Beach)
