Permission is UI
An AI workflow is not good if it saves eight minutes and then makes you nervous every time you press enter.
That approval box in a terminal agent is product design now. Not just safety plumbing. It decides whether the tool feels like a teammate with good manners or another tiny inbox asking for permission.
The useful version tells me what is about to happen, why it matters, and what the real risk is. Fast enough that I keep momentum. Clear enough that I do not rubber-stamp it.
Trust is a workflow feature. The button is only the visible part.
