Yes! A videogame that has night again. Unfortunately, the transition is too slow and choppy to capture well but maybe I'll find a solution for that. Lake Mead features heavily in Fallout: New Vegas but the way it's rendered and animated reminds me much more of the Salton Sea. I like to pretend I'm walking around Bombay Beach, which is also loosely reproduced in GTA San Andreas in the form of the "Alamo Sea". I'm adding the classic game Fallout: New Vegas to my Video Game Landscapes project. This game is interesting because it follows a loosely accurate map of the Mojave Desert as opposed to a fictional map. This reality is mixed with the randomness and vagueness necessary to videogames of the era.
