This may be a little controversial, and from the offset you need to know I am English born but I don't agree with the monarchy, but even with that standpoint, I am looking at this from a neutral point of view. Even as an âanti-Royalâ, Iâm not militant, in fact I'm not that bothered that they do exist, and I was genuinely upset that the Queen dis last week, at the end of the day, on a human level, somebody has died and I wouldn't wish that on anybody What I do take objection to is the ridiculous amount of coverage of the entire event and the period of mourning. I have absolutely no issue with it being held, I understand that some people want, if not demand it, but I would argue is that for those that arenât âaffectedâ by the death of HRH, we are allowed to carry on with our lives as usual. The never-ending coverage on the TV is farcical, we have numerous channels, as well as the BBC iPlayer, where those who are interested can go to watch it to their hearts content without disrupting the lives of everybody else
