A new mix I recorded yesterday.
Ganyamede Ultra - 100% Power (Deep Worldwide Music Inc, 1997)
Just found this rare and obscure record at a record fair in Münster, Germany. The track title says it all, 100% House power! Mr. Wayne Gardiner on the buttons...
Jordan Fields - Can You Feel The Beat (Headphoniq, 2013)
I hate to post tracks that have those cheap ass crude photo-slide-show video up on Youtube. But this time there is no other way and this Jordan Fields track is too dope - so enjoy this sweet cut!

Julien Jabre - Delivrance (Moody Mix) (Basic Recordings, 1999)
A peaceful and mellow track on the Time EP that I have just recieved. Julien Jabre on his peak of his productions back in 1999. Click ‘start’ and enjoy the ride...
A Nite Life Production Presents Smooth Stan Smith - So Smooth (Dance Mania, 1994)
One of the best Dance Mania EPs imo. I usually play this a bit pitched down, sounds better I think. Funny enough the vocal samples of this track come from an episode of “The Simpson” called “Life On The Fast Lane”. Listen here: http://download.lardlad.com/sounds/season1/bowling5.mp3
GU - Slam'en Mutha's (Relief Records, 1994) Dark one by Mr. Glenn Underground on Cajmere's Relief Records.
Rare footage of Paul Simpson and Vincent Montana Jr. in the studio
Amazing footage of Paul Simpson working with vibraphonist Vincent Montana Jr. on tracks in 1990. Strangely enough the track was released 8 years later on Cutting Traxx.
A WORD FROM PAUL SIMPSON: Vibe Vertigo, recorded at Gamble & Huff's "Studio 309" (Philadelphia), was originally penned as "Two" which was to be the title song for my second and follow up album to "One" (Chrysalis Records-1990). "Paul Simpson" as the artist meant that I had the freedom to invite numerous guests, which caused the album projects to run over budget, leaving me unable to complete not only the unfinished recordings, but also without the means to mix them. I then created "LP&S" (Love, Peace & Soul) whereby I took some of the instrumental tracks from the album and remixed them as 12" singles. "Two" now entitled "Vibe Vertigo" and the B-side "Play Away" both feature my long-time friend, Vincent Montana, Jr. as lead man on his Heavy, Heavy VIBES! "Vibe Vertigo" String Session (1990) Produced by Paul Simpson for LP&S on Cutting Traxx String Arrangement & Vibraharp Solo by Vincent Montana, Jr. Recorded at Studio 309, Philadelphia, PA Engineered by Jim Gallagher A behind the scenes view of Vincent Montana, Jr. conducting strings at the recording session of "Vibe Vertigo" and in the mixing booth with Paul Simpson & Jim Gallagher while they replay the track with the vibes included. As VMJ says "You don't get a synthesizer to play that sh*t". Just for fun he asks the engineer to play it back with ALL the string tracks together -- just to see "the confusion".
4/4 Productions - The Jazz Tip (Kongcrete Records, 1992)
Super jazzy track from Bristol, UK. British House music on Kongcrete Records way before the beginning of UK Garage!

The Nathaniel X Project - Rest In Power Robinson & Camacho (Traxx Underground, 2015)
Finally something new from Nate "Nathaniel X" Tinsley. It's a tribute to John Robinson and Dave Camacho and has that same vibe we know from his releases on Music Station back in 1994 and on My Love Is Underground in 2010. EP called "Excavation EP" is out now!
Urban Blues Project Presents Mother Of Pearl Featuring Pearl Mae - Your Heaven (I Can Feel It) (U.B.P. Classic Mix) (Soulfuric Recordings, 1996)
I'm into uplifting tracks lately, so here is another one - a true Jazz-N-Groove classic from 1996 under their Urban Blues Project moniker.
KB Project - Nothing Can Stop You (Elevate, 1999)
Jazzy production by Daniel "DBX" Bell on his own label Elevate. Sometimes a killer track doesn't need much. Maybe just a good sample loop, in this case it is Herbie Hancock's "Actual Proof".
Kool Rock Steady (R.I.P.) X Fast Eddie X Brian Harden X Roy Davis Jr.
Jamerson - Got To Give It Up (Agent X Mix) (Happy Records, 1992) Had to upload this piano bomb to Youtube after I found it has not been uploaded there yet. People went nuts when I dropped this last time in Cologne back in January. To sum up: Derrick Jamerson on the original production, Mike "Agent X" Clark on the remix, Yolanda on the vocals (not included in this particular mix).

Norm Talley - Untitled (City Boy Records, 1997)
Detroit's very own Norm Talley on the buttons, nuthin' more to say but:
"HOLD ME, FEEL ME, KISS ME, TOUCH ME"
The Children - Freedom (Factory Mix) (D.J. International Records, 1987)
Crazy Chicago record that I recently rediscovered in Jeremy Underground's Boiler Room set. The Children teamed up with Adonis, Jamie Christopher on the vocal duties. Jacking track with inspiring lyrics.
"FREEDOM, THAT'S WHAT LIFE'S ABOUT"
