I am so disgusted watching this r kelly special.  My heart breaks for all the survivors.  The most real thing I have heard in it is when Mikki Kendall stated, “ People will say, well why didn’t anyone notice? The answer is that we all noticed. No one cared because we were black girls.” It was so true! So as people talk about how shocked they are by his actions especially in my community, I am baffled.  The folks in my community are conditioned that what happens within the personal lives of folks stays in that person's private life!  Which is harmful in itself!  As a survivor, that has and will continue to bother me.  Like with R. Kelly everyone knew what was going on.  It's just sad that it's still going on. Praying for all the survivors tonight with a very heavy heart.
