So you know the Tower she was locked in?

it has this window that is plenty large tbh

And I thought : "wait Pink could float and escape form there"

But then I realized floating requires her to think happy thoughts

She was probably too emotionally beaten down to float that high

when people treat Rose as a mask or a lie of Pink and not her new identity, I always remember that her gem reformed as Pink and then as Rose. And that reformation is not a PURELY aesthetic thing but reflects something about the mindset of the gem. It is what "feels right" to them as the show states.

The change to Rose was as much a lie as cotton candy Garnet becoming more put together or Pearls outfit becoming less pearl-like.

The moment Pearl found out about botanical gardens, she planned a road trip to visit each one with Rose and whenever a new one shows up, they visit it together.
