Kouyou Ozaki: long-tailed widowbird

you may disagree with me, but first look at this grace and elegance.

(yes, i now it’s a male bird, nature is cruel and female widowbirds don’t look so delicacy)

Akiko Yosano: little raven

because she’s good doctor and because raven traditionally is associated with transition between life and death.

Ichiyou Higuchi: eurasian magpie

definitely a magpie. kinda sassy, can be pain in your ass, but still friendly.

(magpie is one of my fav birds btw)

Kyouka Izumi: european robin

renewal and joy of new beginning symbolism. my little girl deserves better.

(and this big kind but sad eyes reminds me of Kyouka)

Yukichi Fukuzawa: red-crowned crane

because of Fukuzawa’s traditional style. besides crane in japanese culture associated with fidelity.

Ougai Mori: hooded crow

he’s not a raven, he’s a crow. little bit of black, little bit of grey, kinda stylish but washing hair is crige.

if you remember in previous part i said that dazai looks like little crow. so mori is a big crow cause in “fifteen” he says that dazai reminds him of himself.

Doppo Kunikida: mute swan

without a doubt he’s a swan, at least because of his ideas about the ideal and love.

Ryuurou Hirotsu: japanese cormorant

serious man. i’m convinced that cormorant would like tobacco.

Atsushi Nakajima: long-tailed tit

small, friendly, big heart. everybody wants him in team

Akutagawa Ryunosuke: white-bellied tit

more serious but still just traumatised kid. classy-sassy energy

i’m deeply convinced that they both are tits. not because their age or “smallness” but because they are opposite sides of one and both are kids with a difficult orphan past (yeah, tits have orphan vibe for me)

Osamu Dazai: red-vented bulbul

looks like little crow. red reminds about beast outfit. kinda messy hairstyle

Chuuya Nakahara: chaffinch

he is definitely a chaffinch. look at this ironic face (i talk about bird) and… this hat
