First came across this on the Spin This Six sampler, and found it to be powerful stuff. I immediately started looking for the album. It took me a while, but when I found it, I was disappointed; there was nothing as good as "Saint" anywhere in sight on the rest of this album. Which doesn't doesn't change the fact that this song just explodes.

AllMusic gives this, their final album, three stars and a lukewarm review, and it's true that it doesn't blow the mind as some of their previous releases did, but I was talking texting to this dude the other day and he said Brian Egeness is 'one of the most slept-on guitar players' and there's plenty of evidence on this record, even if the the bass and drums don't quite keep up and the sound might be monotonously bright/. . . .

The first few notes of this one remind me of "Planet of Sound"
