‘Mortem’

YOUR DREAMS are relevant and deserved. If you shoot for the moon the worst that can happen is you land among the stars. This is absolutely a cheesy thing to live by, but the meaning behind it is unbelievably significant. That being said it can be extremely healthy to be realistic with yourself, not everything will be great all the time. This is where I think to myself, that even if I’m at rock bottom, the only way out is up. This helps me think optimistically. With it I become able to force my mind into being  more dedicated to keep going. 

   Despite the past and the inevitable future, I can stay motivated to get what I want in life. Of course there are days I can’t help but think there is no point to all of this, I truly believe everyone has these days. The only thing that separates everybody, are the people that control this mindset. People that can go from thinking everything sucks, to thinking how can I change this? What can I do to make things suck less or not at all? This is the difference of the strong and weak-minded. I want to acknowledge that I don’t necessarily consider myself strong minded because I struggle with this more than I should, however I do recognize this difference, I recognize that I have power and control over my thoughts and actions. It is unrealistic to believe anybody else can change the way you’re thinking and feeling. 

   All of this addressed, no one else will have the same dedication to your goals and dreams than you will, you need to focus more on yourself than others. Preferably there is a healthy medium, that is caring about the lives of people you love, while at the same time caring about your own. This will lead to growing your relationships with the people you choose to keep close. As well as strengthen your heart and mind, making you feel more capable to do the things you desire.
