The year was packed with brilliant videos, some of the most dizzying in years. 2016 saw the revival of the expanded visual narrative. A trip that turned a three minute song into a 15 minute feature, memorable stories that further supported the artists' lyrical concepts through expertly produced drama and humor. This year also used both amazing practical and bizarre experimental effects to create striking visuals which left images burned in association with the music.
