“We were getting court-martialed no matter what  — it would’ve let us go out on a high note.” She pauses, smile growing devilish, “I feel like taking a patrol mission ‘round Mirrin Prime, sometime soon – - and stopping by, just for a small chat. To catch up, y’know ?” 

“I’m still mad at you and Poe — it would’ve been so satisfying.” 

“I still wish I’d gotten to punch Major Deso before we defected.” 

“that’s not helpful. I mean, for one thing, I can’t shove poe.” literally. she can’t. if she was bigger, she totally would. “I guess I’ll get used to it. y'think this is because I borrowed some of his stuff?”

“You could always trip him instead of shoving him.” No. He should not be encouraging that so he cleared his throat, backtracked. “Actually, don’t do that, Poe would yell at me once he found out I told you to do it. Being married to Muran is sucking the fun out of him I swear.”

“okay, well. can you make him stop GLARING at me? not that I’m scared.“ ( she is ). "he’s not scary.” ( he is. ) “it’s just annoying.”
