Ransom [Live2d]

I know it’s cause there’s a lot more attention and energy focused on Live2D improvement and features, but man 3D feels so behind on stuff it should be able to do.

No yeah for sure I get all that, I guess more what my frustration is is that 3D is fully capable of doing a lot, it's just you need like 30 different programs to do it. It's the of the all-in-one ness that VTS has that we don't that makes me jealous lol. Like I get why, it's a lot harder, but it's also like it would be nice if things were more honed in on one place??

i understand the frustration. it would be nice to streamline stuff.

On an alternative perspective, I feel like the time and work it takes to make things work in Live2D is inherently harder than in 3D, therefore, to make it do any of the things at all, you have to make one model/program do all the special things on a per model basis. While in 3D most base models have a skeleton that other programs can read and understand without special programming per model, which opens each individual to so many options program and tracking wise to suit their needs, which means there are a lot more programs to do the things. Would it be hella nice for Vseeface to also do my redeems, full body tracking, etc? Yeah!! but that would be a HEAVY program to run for 3D streaming

Very true, Vroid does give an incredible base to go off. But I think maybe I should've specified, I think for a 2D model to do what a 3D model can with regards to hand and body tracking is very difficult in comparison. And yeah VUP can be a cpu hog, I was using that but just switched to VNyan. VUP was causing me a lot of Steam errors and not letting other games load unless I closed it first which sucked mid-stream. Vnyan is super new and I gotta see how it does on stream
