and knowing that the majority of screenwriters are white and men it disgusts me the way young girl’s sexualities are displayed on tv and in books and i feel like the majority of adults have a distorted view of young girls sex lives, i feel like there’s this over estimation of it. and it’s fueled by pedophilia culture to imagine and envision young girls as having these voracious sexual appetites. i’m just squicked the fuck out by all Western television rn.

i’m not saying young girls aren’t sexual at all, but that they are not as sexual as adults controlling the media make them out to be in order to normalize and serve their own pedophilic fantasies.

and young girls consuming this media feel like they have to meet the expectations imposed upon them in order to be normal. & that’s just a general win for patriarchy and pedophilia culture and the cycle keeps repeating with added subtle or outright positive reinforcement.
