* RAMSES / @ramsessamirâ
ââhow does that saying go? âbeggars⌠canât be choosersâ?â ofrah frowned, disbelief coloring every inch of her disposition. âi know that there no longer are many options to our disposition, but we donât necessarily have to end up as the beggars. look atââ she turned away from the crew working on the ferry, shielding herself and ramses so they wouldnât hear ââ look at the ferry, ramses. that thing wonât stand the two of us, let alone the crew. and iâm not sure iâd place my life on those menâs hands.âÂ
Ramses grinned at Ofrah; the expression on her face was priceless. This was just up his alleyâan out of the ordinary way to start their adventure. Sure, it wasnât a traditional sort of method, but traditional was overrated, in his opinion.
âOh, Iâve known Masud for years; heâs one of the best in the business. A bit rough around the edges, but he knows his way around a boat, thatâs for sure,â he said, offering Ofrah a shrug. He scanned the ferry then the dock before his gaze settled. âSpeak of the devil,â he grinned again.
âMasud!â he exclaimed, waving at a gruff looking man. The man looked up and his lined face broke into a grin.
âWell if it isnât Ramses Samir!â he shouted, dropping the rope heâd been handling before sauntering over. He glanced at Ofrah. âAnd whoâs this?â
