Original Character Survey 2016
Want to develop your character and help science at the same time? Iâve created a questionnaire that will ask you a ton of things about your OC. Once I get enough responses, I will use the data to find trends in how people create characters, and then make some cool graphs with it.
The survey has over 500 questions, almost all of which are optional if you donât want to answer that many. It touches on everything, from your characterâs appearance to their personality to their favorite color, and much more. All kinds of characters are welcome, whether theyâre human or non-human, fantastical or realistic, anything goes. Characters from stories, roleplay characters, and characters without any story are all accounted for.
Content warning for references to violence, sexual assault, death, abuse, and every other nasty thing you can think of. All of it is in text form and there is no in-depth discussion of any of these topics, just questions about whether these things have happened to your character. Aside from some barbie-style nudity and cartoon people in swimsuits, all images are tame. There is a nsfw section for those who want to develop their characterâs saucier side, but it is easy to skip over without having to see any of it.

Criminal Ray Headcanon
Rayâs first stint in jail was at the age of 19. He was busted for breaking and entering, and possession of marijuana (which is what he had broken in to steal).
At the time he had a few tattoos, mostly homemade from an aspiring tattoo artist friend. He thought he was badass, in jail so young, and made some connections to get a jailhouse tat.
The man tried to warn him, telling Ray he would regret the design he wanted, but Ray wouldnât take no for an answer. The man gave in and tattooed Rayâs teardrop, and the next day he was beaten until he was unconscious.
What Ray didnât know was that in jail, tattoos are taken very seriously, especially if they are outright lies. Ray wasnât deserving of a tattoo that signified having killed someone.

RamĂłn (Ray) Cepeda, founding member, drummer, and vocalist of the up-and-coming band âWolves of the Barrio,â spent some time in Atlanta last week, reportedly collaborating with an as yet unknown local artist. âAll I can say is, Iâm really going back to my roots with this track, and Iâm so glad I have the opportunity to work with this kind of talent.â Starting out in a few different bands in his own hometown, Ray knows the plight of the underground singer/singwriter better than his //Wolves// reputation lets on at first sight. âI made my way up from the very bottom,â he says, referring to the lower class, mostly immigrant neighborhood where he grew up. Ray will soon set off on a press tour around the United States to promote his campaign to bring music to impoverished areas with a high immigrant population.
