Garry and Cliff meet up with Milo near the beginning of this vod and,, Milo just flat out says he thinks he's gonna have to kill Mehmet. And while Garry does in fact say he can't do that, he says there's legal ways that could happen if Mehmet hurts him again so,,, yeah.

Garry spiraling so hard after very much so being a voice of reason was amazing. Days spent reassuring other cops, working on plans to improve things instantly shattering the moment he learns about Braxton. So he goes off duty, gets blackout drunk, and goes off to try and join the Lost. (Which is an instant classic bit btw. Yackle tries to join the Lost (getting to the bit before Garry as usual) Garry tries to join, Lockhart jokes about it, then even Braxton threatens it. I can only imagine how the Lost feel, now being the backup plan for all of the PD and DoJ.) Which of course the next day results in 10 officers including Coster getting drunk in his office. All to top it off Garry feels the need to be awful to Braxton because he hurt him and it's easier than telling him how much he loves and misses him.

Of course the whole "Garry went west and grew horses and now has a southern accent" is a funny bit but it's also fun to think about it as "Garry was tired of how often bad things kept happening and he could only do so much." Like after the constant paranoia of the governor investigation and basically being unable to save Milo or Mehmet Garry just decided to disappear and hang out in the middle of nowhere with horses for a bit. He only came back because they offered him a high position in a investigation department and he figured why not, maybe he could actually change things this time.

Went from this sweet kid who told the cops the truth and trusted that others would keep him safe to this heavily traumatized kid who murdered his "big brother" because he believed it was the only way to keep himself safe. What an amazing story to tell.

And the diaries, and binders full of notes and pictures all contributing to just how sad it all is. Baldo reading his diary and saying to Lockhart how he actually felt bad for Milo because it seemed like no one really helped him.

Then there's Garry, who may truly be broken from this. Milo saying how he told him Mehmet was dead a week ago, and he just didn't believe him. Garry believing fully (and honestly not being entirely wrong) that this is his fault. He trusted Milo, he brought him and Mehmet back together which only made it easier for Milo to kill him. Despite what efforts he made to keep Milo safe it wasn't enough.

Oh, and then there's Garry saying how he understands why Shepard does things the way he does. I'm sure that won't come back at some point haha

It's like 3 am and you know all I really want after all of this is Garry and Cliff to go to Cuginos with all the people involved in the governor and inevitably be killed

All I want now is an arc where Garry, Cliff, Sabine and whoever from Mesa who wants to join them make a little vigilante PD out in the woods.
