recently i’ve been addicted to this decor site called Apartment Therapy, and this pack is my attempt to capture the pristine vibes of every article/image/diy renovation they publish. and it’s finally done! 4 sleepless nights, 30 blender tutorials and an infinite number of S4S rage-quits later, i finally feel confident enough about the quality to release this little set out into the wilderness!

everything is base game compatible except for the sheer drapes, which require parenthood.

some of the items in this set are high poly. i am trying to lower the poly counts now, but until i’m able to lower it, be aware: the worst offenders, the hanging plants, are roughly 20K polys, the highest being 32K+. so use your discretion and don’t fry your computer if you don’t think it can handle it!

So! I wanted to make a hijab wearing Sim for two reasons, the first being because of that fab post going around about how to properly make a Muslim Sim and the common rules that most adhered too, and secondly, this being the more important reason; because there was recently an argument in a Sims Facebook group I’m in, about week or so back about how it was difficult to make “diverse” Sims without downloading a bunch of custom content. It originally started over the fact that EA’s skin tones were so terrible but quickly devolved and thankfully outed a bunch of terrible racists that were quickly kicked out, so at least there’s that silver lining. 

All of that made me curious to see exactly how “hard” it was to make a genuinely diverse Sim without any custom content, only using EA clothing and EA’s hijab. As you can see, even with a lack of decent long skirts, there were enough loose fitting pants that it wasn’t a problem. Then just for the hell of it, I downloaded a couple custom content hijabs as well as an accessory undershirt, to see if it made it any easier. I honestly didn’t find that it did, it was just as easy as it was without any of the custom stuff. 

So the argument that it’s “hard” to make diverse Sims in a vanilla game is, well, categorically wrong. As you can see with EA’s basic stuff, I picked out four everyday outfits, a party outfit and an athletic outfit. Using custom content, I picked out three everyday outfits and one formal outfit.

¡Estoy súper emocionada de mostrarles finalmente esta construcción en la que hemos estado trabajando! No puedo estar más enamorada del resultado, ¡me encanta como Coki hizo el interior, yo definitivamente no podría haberlo hecho mejor! Cuando comenzamos esto, originalmente se suponía que debía ser algo totalmente diferente, pero termine haciendo esta casa del árbol y cambiando cosas cada segundo lol Coki hizo un trabajo increíble, no solo con el interior sino también conmigo, porque esto me tomo muchísimo tiempo y ella fue siempre muy paciente, ¡ame trabajar con ella la verdad! ¡Me encanta la cocina, la habitación, todo! No tienen idea de cuanto deseo transportarme al juego para estar en este lugar, ^^u.

(La construcción no es funcional a menos que uses teleport para llegar al tercer piso y al sótano.)

I’m super excited to finally show this build that we did it! I can’t be more in love with the result, I love how Coki made the interior, I couldn’t have done better! When we started this, it was originally supposed to be something different, but I ended up making this treehouse and changing things every second lol Coki did an incredible job, not only with the interior of the build but also with me, because it took me a lot of time do the exterior but she was always patient, and I loved working with her! I love the kitchen, and the bedroom, and everything! You don’t know how badly I want to transport myself into this build, hahahsha.

(The build is not functional, unless you use teleport to get to the third floor and basement.)

💕 SEA PUP PLUSHIE 💕

The sea puppy plushie that you all enjoyed from a previous post is finally here! It is my first attempt at object cc, so I hope you like it ^^💗

The texture of it might look a lil bit different from the first post where I revealed it, which is because I lost that texture ;-; I guess it was for the best, because that texture was quite weird haha 😅😅

I think it turned out pretty good! I honestly expected object cc to be much harder to make than something like clothes or accessories, but I was pleasantly surprised that it is super easy! So, if you want something simple and easy to mesh, I would recommend making object cc ヽ(✿ﾟ▽ﾟ)ノ

I think the only issue with this is that if you zoom out from it in game, it will show this kind of thin black outline around only the body of the seal (whoops) 😓 I tried to tweak it a bit to fix it, but it doesn’t want to go awayyyy 😣 It’s not that noticeable unless you zoom out a ton luckily (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ Just wanted to let you know 😁

From the reveal post, I was asked if I could make this an accessory for toddlers to snuggle with…I tried to edit the tags for that, but in game when toddlers were to snuggle with it, it was a little awkward because of the shape of the plushie 🤔 So instead, I made it so that you can talk with it (now typing that out, it sounds so weird wth??😂) I’m not sure if that works, so feel free to tell me if it does! 💓
