see this illustrates really well why i dislike people with this frothing at mouth level rancorous fixation on the Trump family

you got them calling his normal little boy horrible things for doing normal kid things and screaming at the security costs for him finishing his school year up in nyc rather than having his whole life uprooted and calling him a dumb naive idiot for being apparently distressed at an image of his father having been beheaded. like, from the same people that’d righteously get furious at the Obama kids being called racist shit and insulted.

like the exact same people that called out dudes for comparing Michelle Obama to a gorilla (again, rightfully) are calling Melania a slut, whore, goldigger and keep calling Ivanka stuff related to incest nonsense

they insult endlessly the normal ass people in the Trump family when his adult sons look like they just stepped out of a robocop set and are actively complicit and involved in Trump’s blatant corruption

Again, I can’t stress enough of how much I don’t like Donald Trump as a person or a politician, but I will say that I’m also pretty fed up with this obsessive loathing of everything about the Trump family, just because Donald Trump is an asshole guilty of many terrible things. It’s guilt by association if I ever saw it. Now, like Trilllizard said, I think there would some basis in not really caring for Trump’s older sons, but I don’t really see anything too bad in Melania, I’m still wondering why people have such a hateboner for Ivanka (I mean, is it because she’s shilled too much at times? It’s annoying, but I doubt that makes her as bad people claim she is), but I’m absolutely disgusted at most of the rhetoric thrown at Barron. Regardless of the other Trumps, he’s just a kid, and he seems to at least be a decent kid (a little sheltered, but decent nonetheless). Hell, it’s wishful thinking, but one day I hope he grows to be a better person than his father and his brothers, and maybe even clean up his family name a little. Wishful thinking, yes, but I still don’t think Barron deserves all the shit he’s being thrown just because his dad is a terrible, unlikable person, and I certainly don’t think the kid deserves to be hurt or killed.
