gandhabe will prevail

a difference between s1 and the reboot ive noticed is season 1 had like a really fixed status quo and each episode focused on playing with it as much as possible rather than changing or expanding on it, the first episode immediately made it clear it goes like joan likes abe, abe likes cleo and she starts to like him, and jfk likes joan and that’s the whole thing just messing around with that order, and the most that fluctuates is around the early eps where cleo and jfk don’t fully break up yet. but with the reboot it’s very much like. everyone is always on and off and everyone has the ability to like everyone. it’s not really that i hate this, i think this has its own way of being fun and entertaining, it’s just kind of a big difference that also leads into the show focusing less on humour and the plot of an episode and more on what’s happening with the relationships platonic or otherwise in that specific episode
